Feasibility test
before the project starts

we check the feasibility
Before the project begins, we validate your requirements and wishes for our system in a feasibility test. As a first step, this makes it clear what is feasible and where the limits lie. It also shows at an early stage which problems exist, how and where. These findings form the basis for the development of your xactools system.
Service, retrofit & repair
Remote maintenance, warranty and spare parts
Every xactools machine is equipped with a remote maintenance module. This enables the machine to communicate problems, breakdowns or necessary maintenance. Either to our customer and/or directly to us. This shortens our response time.
In the event of problems, our technicians respond directly remotely or come to your production site and carry out the necessary work to keep your production running smoothly.
We guarantee a 10-year supply of spare parts for our machines; we store specific spare parts at our premises or at the customer’s premises so that the availability of spare parts can be guaranteed.
Training and documentation
We install our systems ourselves in your production facility. This also includes intensive training for your employees on how to use the machine in general and how to proceed in the event of faults or regular maintenance work. This reduces your maintenance costs and allows you to respond to problems yourself.
Machine service repair and calibration
We are happy to offer you service/maintenance contracts for our systems. Our technicians will then take care of all aspects of our systems in your production facility.
In the event of a fault, our service team will respond immediately, analyze the problem and repair the machine in your production facility or support your in-house technicians remotely with the repair.
Our systems are designed so that they report automatically in the event of a fault. The programming of regular measuring equipment adjustments and/or calibration cycles usually eliminates the need for cost-intensive calibrations by external service providers. The systems generate corresponding test reports and certificates to document the tests and calibrations carried out.
Retrofit and upgrades
We offer the updating of older systems with new hardware and software for systems for the automated measurement and testing of components on an individual basis. We assess the condition of the machine and match this with your new requirements. This results in a profitability calculation.
Here is a list of typically updatable items:
- Updating camera systems
- Updating mechanical functions, actuators, grippers
- Updating computers, hardware, software
- Updating the control system, upgrading the PLC control system, connecting to new systems in your production
If it makes financial sense to overhaul the machine, we will carry out the upgrade for you and install the overhauled and modernized system in your production line. Comparable to a new development, your employees will receive training and we will offer you additional maintenance and service.
