At xactools®, we are revolutionizing quality assurance with self-learning systems.

To this end, we develop fully integrated systems that can be seamlessly integrated into existing production lines and enable precise inline measurement and inspection of components. These systems optimize the entire manufacturing process by carrying out quality checks directly in the production process. In addition, we also develop autonomous, stand-alone test cells that can be used flexibly. These cells can perform either individual measurements or complex measurement combinations fully automatically.

By using AI, we enable precise detection and analysis of defects, which leads to a significant increase in product quality. The inspected components are then transferred to production for further processing. In this way, we ensure maximum efficiency and quality in all production environments.

Our systems use intelligent camera-based vision systems to recognize your components.

Once the component has been identified, an optical, camera-based inspection is carried out for defects, scratches or general deviations. The part then undergoes the actual inspection.

The test procedure depends on your requirements. Anything is possible. As a rule, we start with the fully automatic measurement of the component (more on this) and then carry out the following tests, for example:

  • Inspection of the surface, break/crack detection and measurement, if available
  • Testing for leaks
  • Carrying out a tensile/compression test or burst test
  • Carrying out surface measurements, e.g. hardness test, determination of roughness in accordance with ISO 4287, 13565, 25178 or layer thickness
  • 3D measurement of the component geometry
  • Measurement of magnetic remanence and magnetic saturation
